Moved back to Bengaluru a few months ago and miss my weekly mahjong. Any groups here that take newer players? Not fussy about the style, I just want to get to a table again.

Look up Mahjong for Charity. Big crowd, 100+ regulars, and they play and teach across a few spots in the city. Proceeds go to charity too. myjong.club, or @mahjong_for_charity on insta.

If you want to brush up first, Bangalore Mahjong Clinic runs weekday sessions at Fia’s Lounge on Richmond Road and Just Be Café in Sadashivanagar. Latika and Shibani are patient with beginners. @bangaloremahjongclinic.

Played at Fia’s a few times, mostly weekday late mornings. The NOD also did a roundup of Bengaluru groups if you want more options to compare before you pick one.
