Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least 13). You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

2. Acceptable use & community

Luv Mahjong is a community for Mahjong players, hosts, and teachers. Be respectful. Do not post or send content that is harassing, hateful, illegal, unsafe, deceptive, spammy, or that violates others’ rights.

We may review, hold, remove, or restrict content and may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or our community guidelines.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create (profiles, posts, messages, venue and event details, ratings, and photos). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the app, and — for content you choose to make public — on our public web pages and in search results, in order to operate and promote the service.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Content may be checked by automated systems, including artificial intelligence, before it appears publicly, and may be held or removed.

4. Games, venues, and "paid" events

Venues, tables, and events may be marked as "paid." This only ever means cost-sharing, dues, table hire, or similar shared expenses — never stakes, buy-ins, prizes, or wagering. Luv Mahjong does not support real-money gaming or gambling of any kind.

Payments are not processed inside the app at this time. Any amount shown is informational and is arranged and settled in person between the people involved. You are responsible for your own conduct and arrangements when you meet other people; meet safely.

5. Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive messages from us — by push notification, email, and within the app. These include service and transactional messages (such as sign-in codes, requests, approvals, and confirmations), messages about events you have registered for and venues or teachers you interact with, and promotional messages and announcements about Luv Mahjong and its features.

You can opt out of promotional messages and adjust your notification preferences at any time in the app’s settings. Service and transactional messages are necessary to use the app and cannot be switched off while you keep an account.

6. Future paid features and shop

Luv Mahjong is free to use today. We may, in the future, introduce paid features, subscriptions, platform or booking fees, ticketing, in-app purchases, or an in-app shop for Mahjong-related products. By using the app you acknowledge and agree that it may not remain free forever.

If and when such features launch, we will make them clear in the app, and your use of them will be subject to any additional terms and pricing presented at that time. We will give reasonable notice before charging existing users for something that was previously free.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services (for example, cloud hosting, push delivery, maps and address search, and automated moderation). Your use of features powered by them may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or vouch for the identity, conduct, or safety of other users, venues, or teachers.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abhay Bhargav will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app or your interactions with other users.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the app at any time if you break these Terms or to protect the community. You may stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have jurisdiction, except where local law gives you other rights.
